Vegan Tasting Menu
Our vegan menus are designed to champion the ingredient. We like to keep things simple so that the vegetable is the star.
We prepare our vegan tasting menus in the best way possible to showcase the inherent character of each ingredient. If we make you a carrot-based dish, we want that carrot to be the best you have ever tasted! To do this, we have to begin with great produce, so we carefully source all of our vegetables from the East Midlands.
To enhance and complement the fresh flavours, we make all of our own oils and flavoured vinegars. In fact, everything we serve is prepared in-house to ensure the best quality and freshness. Our vegan tasting menu offers you the opportunity to enjoy a modern British interpretation of the very best flavours of our region.
Enjoy our five course tasting menu on Wednesday to Friday evenings. As we make these dishes fresh to order, pre-booking is required for all vegan dishes at the present time. As demand continues to rise, we are hoping to make our vegan options available in the future without advance notice. If you fancy a lighter meal of just one or two vegan dishes, this can also be pre-ordered from the three course menu for both lunch or dinner service.
We have carefully selected a range of wines to pair with each dish on the five course vegan tasting menu. In the mood for a bottle of wine instead? All but two of the wines on our list are vegan friendly. If there is an alternative wine that catches your eye, just ask your server for more information to ensure it suits your dietary requirements.
Guests who do not wish to take the vegan tasting menu are welcome to order our regular tasting menu instead.
Our tasting menu celebrated the flavours of the season, showcasing the incredible flavours of our carefully sourced ingredients. Our British meat and Scottish fish is all selected to provide maximum taste as well as maintaining our commitment to ethical and sustainable animal husbandry. We believe traceability is vital in providing the very best on your plate, which is why we’re happy to pay more for sustainable ingredients like hand-dived scallops from Cornwall and our range of seasonal vegetables which are all grown in the East Midlands.
Our tasting menu has been crafted to take you on an adventure of beautifully presented contemporary British dining. To fully appreciate this adventure, we recommend opting to enjoy the dishes with our paired wine option. Our tasting menus must be taken by the full table and pre-booking is required.
